Why it is important to bring information and technology to third world countries

It is very important to bring information and technology to third world countries.  Online information can be used to help teach individual subjects, and it can be used to help teach reading.  How important do you think reading is?  How much do you read a day?  If you couldn’t read, how much longer do you think you could keep your job?  Reading is very important, and we should bring it to less fortunate people.  Just because someone doesn’t have money doesn’t mean they should be denied reading and writing.  Reading and writing, both of which can be learned online, are necessary to success in life.

Also, the internet can be used for e-commerce, so less fortunate people will be able to make a living outside of their own village.  And the internet can be used to communicate with doctors in other parts of the world, which means that other doctors who might have seen a certain disease before can oversee an operation, and provide instruction on what to do.

We need to bring the internet to other countries!
